Once October hits, most of us skip straight to Halloween. Although Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown may show us otherwise, the fall months aren’t just about ghouls, ghosts, and goblins. That’s why Hallmark Channel reminds us to embrace the best parts of autumn — chunky sweaters, apple orchards, and pumpkin spice — with three all-new Fall Harvest movies. Starting October 5 at 9 p.m., watch your favorite Hallmark stars like Jessica Lowndes and Wes Brown fall in (and potentially, out) of love while cozying up on the couch with a PSL in hand. Talk about peak fall.
Following the premiere of Good Witch: Curse From a Rose, we’ll get a sneak peek at what’s ahead in the coming months: 40 brand-new Christmas movies airing on Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. In the Countdown to Christmas 10th Anniversary Preview Special on Saturday, October 19 at 10 p.m., Hallmark’s “Queen of Christmas” Candace Cameron Bure will introduce us to the movies that we’ll be watching (and re-watching) from now until Christmas.
Just days before Hallmark becomes a 24/7 Christmas destination, they’ll give Hallmarkies the best gift of all: three hours of adorable puppies. Starting at 8 p.m. on Monday, October 21, Hallmark will air the 2019 American Humane Hero Dog Awards followed by The Love of Dogs Benefit Concert. In addition to performances by Lee Brice and Hunter Hayes, viewers will give dogs forever homes and honor canines for acts of service, courage, and heroism, making it the best way to get in the holiday spirit. You know what that means: October is the perfect time to test out which area of your couch is the most comfortable because, ya know, you won’t be leaving anytime soon.
Over the Moon In Love
Saturday, October 5 at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Channel
A threat to her matchmaking business forces Brooklyn (played by Jessica Lowndes) to take on an unexpected client: a magazine writer who has her eyes on Devin (played by Wes Brown), who just so happens to be Brooklyn’s childhood crush. Even with a magazine cover on the line, she must choose if her business’ survival is more than important than her long-lost love.
Love, Fall, and Order
Saturday, October 12 at 9 p.m. on Hallmark Channel
When she catches wind that her family’s annual Fall Fest is falling apart, Claire (played by Erin Cahill) heads back to her hometown to save the day. Her efforts take her to court (naturally), where she must prove her case to an old rival (played by Trevor Donavan).
Good Witch: Curse from a Rose
Saturday, October 19 at 8 p.m. on Hallmark Channel
Now that Sam (played by James Denton) and Cassie (played by Catherine Bell) are empty nesters, they have more room for the supernatural. In this two-hour Halloween special event, Cassie receives an unexpected visit from an old roommate who isn’t over something that happened in the past. In fear that she’ll ruin Middleton’s holiday celebration, Cassie leans on her magical instincts to stop the chaos.
