All 9 Guest Stars on 'The Good Doctor' Season 3 — and Where You've Seen Them Before

With every new episode of The Good Doctor comes a whole cast of new characters, whether they’re patients being treated by the St. Bonaventure staff or people who pop up in the doctors’ lives outside of work. This constant stream of new additions can often leave viewers scratching their heads and asking themselves, “Where have I seen this actor before?!” But before you go down a rabbit hole of IMDB pages searching for the answers, look no further: We’ve got a complete list of The Good Doctor‘s season 3 guest stars and new cast members right here.

Stacie Greenwell (Episode 5)

Aidan Kahn (Episode 5)

On The Good Doctor, actor Aidan Kahn played Curtis, a patient who threw Claire and Morgan for a loop with his rare diagnosis. Previously, he played Zack on season 3 of the CW series iZombie.

Nefetari Spencer (Episode 5)

Netefari Spencer, who played Curtis’s wife Teal, holds a major role on Comedy Central’s South Side. (But FYI, Pearson family fans: She also once made a brief appearance on This Is Us!)

Dylan Kingwell (Episode 5)

Dylan Kingwell, 15, played Shaun’s late brother, Steve, in flashbacks throughout The Good Doctor season 1. Once Shaun landed his first surgery in season 3, Dylan reprised the role in visions that helped Shaun ease his anxiety.

Joshua Malina (Episode 4)

Fans of Scandal should have recognized Joshua Malina, who played Attorney General David Rosen on the ABC drama before appearing as a conspiracy theorist who questioned Dr. Melendez’s diagnosis on The Good Doctor.

Robert Sean Leonard (Episode 3)

Sharon Leal (Episodes 2 & 3)

Dr. Claire Browne’s mom, Breeze Browne, might be a big part of her story on The Good Doctor, but we hadn’t actually seen her on the show since her surprise appearance back in season 1. That changed in episode 2 of season 3, when Sharon Leal (of Instinct and Dreamgirls fame) reprised the role.

Jenny O’Hara (Episode 1)

Although many viewers thought Ruby, the wife of cancer patient Harvey, was played by Shirley MacLaine, she was in fact played by Jenny O’Hara. Jenny has been acting for 50 years, but perhaps you’ll recognize her most from her recent role as Dot on The Mindy Project.

Aren Buchholz (Episode 1)
